Cambridge Certification for Our Senior Students
On Tuesday, 28 October, our Year 12 students received their official Cambridge English Certificates, awarded by the University of Cambridge —an international recognition that validates the language proficiency achieved throughout their years at our School
The teaching of English is a key pillar of our educational project. Through our partnership with the British Institute of Culture, we are proud to be an English Preparation Centre, fully covering the exam costs for our students
In addition, our School has recently joined the Global Oxford Quality Network, which will bring a wide range of benefits for teachers, parents, and students, strengthening our commitment to academic excellence
During the ceremony, the representative from the British Institute of Culture highlighted that our School is the only one in the Region to have administered the Cambridge exam at all levels in its digital format, becoming a pioneer ahead of its mandatory implementation in 2027
We congratulate our students for completing this important stage, which opens doors to new academic and professional opportunities both in Chile and around the world
Este martes 28 de octubre nuestros estudiantes de IV Medio recibieron sus diplomas oficiales de certificación en inglés, otorgados por la Universidad de Cambridge, un reconocimiento que valida el nivel de competencia lingüística alcanzado durante su formación en el Colegio.
Cabe destacar que la enseñanza de la lengua es un pilar dentro de nuestra institución. Así, fruto de un convenio con el Instituto Británico de Cultura somos un English Preparation Centre y asumimos en su totalidad los costos del examen de los estudiantes. Además, ahora hemos ingresado a la Red Global del programa “Oxford Quality” , lo que traerá una serie de beneficios para nuestros profesores, apoderados y estudiantes.
En la ceremonia, el representante del Instituto Británico de Cultura destacó que somos el único colegio de la Región que realizó el examen en todos sus niveles en modalidad digital que será obligación desde el 2027, por lo tanto fuimos pioneros en la materia.
Felicitamos a los jóvenes por finalizar esta importante etapa que les servirá en su vida universitaria de manera inmediata, además que abre puertas a nuevas oportunidades académicas y profesionales en Chile y el mundo.
