SSR Students Excel in Spelling Bee Competition

For the fifth consecutive year, a group of students from Year 5 to Year 8 from both campuses of the School took part in the traditional Spelling Bee competition, organised annually by Saint Dominic School.

This event has become a valuable opportunity for students to strengthen their command of the English language, practise their pronunciation and spelling, and develop skills such as self-confidence, the use of thematic vocabulary, and public speaking abilities.

During this year’s competition, our pupils stood out for their performance, demonstrating confidence, discipline, and an excellent level of phonetics, which reflects the School’s commitment to language learning and the holistic education of its students.

We warmly congratulate all participants and the English Department, whose teachers work tirelessly to place children and young people in new learning contexts, enabling them to gain experience, confidence, and motivation in their development of the English language. We also extend our thanks to Saint Dominic School for continuing to provide this important space for language development and for inviting us to take part every year.
