In order to provide students with a simulation of the official Cambridge exams, which are scheduled for next July and which will certify their English language proficiency, this morning the Middle IVs sat the Mock Test in front of examiners from the Chilean-British Institute of Culture in Viña del Mar.
During the mock test, the students faced the pressure of the weather, reproducing the environmental conditions and the different stages of the exam. This practice not only gave them a real insight into what they will encounter on the day of the official test, but also helped them to manage and reduce the anxiety associated with the assessment process.
In addition to familiarising themselves with the format of the exam, the students, accompanied by their teachers, will be able to accurately detect their level of language proficiency and, consequently, develop personalised strategies to optimise their preparation for the final exam. This experience gives them a significant advantage, allowing them to address their areas for improvement in advance and increasing their chances of success.
