This Saturday, July 29th, 116 students from IV° Grade took the international English language certification exam, corresponding to level B2 and B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Since our school is an official exam preparation center, specialized personnel from the Cambridge Examination Center of the Chilean-British Institute of Culture administered the test to our students from both campuses at the Viña del Mar campus, following the regulations established by Cambridge Assessment.
The tests will be sent to England for review and in approximately 6 weeks the students will receive their results. Afterwards, on a date to be confirmed, certificates and diplomas will be given to our students in an official ceremony.
English is a fundamental language to be able to function in the academic and work environment at an international level. Therefore, it is essential for young people to acquire solid language skills and, more importantly, to certify them. By obtaining the Cambridge certification, which is recognized worldwide and has no expiration date, they demonstrate an advanced level of understanding and expression in the language, which will open doors to study and work opportunities abroad, as well as the possibility of communicating with people from all over the world.
