Year 7 Students Visit the Baburizza Museum: Learning Through Art and Language

As part of our commitment to providing a comprehensive and meaningful education, our Year 7 students from the campus recently participated in a memorable educational outing to the Baburizza Museum, a landmark of Valparaíso’s rich cultural heritage.

On this occasion, the students experienced a fully guided tour delivered entirely in English. This immersive activity provided a valuable opportunity to practise the language in a real-world setting, bridging classroom learning with practical application and encouraging the development of communicative skills in an authentic context.

Throughout the visit, students explored the museum’s exhibitions, engaging with themes related to art, history, and heritage. They demonstrated focused attention and active listening as they completed a study guide prepared by their teachers, reinforcing their learning while cultivating curiosity and appreciation for cultural spaces.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Baburizza Museum for opening its doors to our students and to all those who contributed to making this enriching experience possible.

At our school, we continue to foster an educational environment that blends academic knowledge, experiential learning, and the development of key competencies essential for thriving in today’s world.
